Friends Camp is a co-ed, overnight summer camp for youth from ages 7 to 17 years old. Friends Camp has sixty-five acres of fields and woods, with a waterfront area on the beautiful shores of China Lake. We are located fifteen miles east of Augusta, Maine in the village of South China.

Friends Camp is a caring and accepting community that offers youth campers a range of creative activities and lots of zany fun. The Quaker values of equality, peace, simplicity, and community are the foundation of Friends Camp.

Campers choose from elective programs that include sports, sailing, art, drama, music, ceramics, photography, and a wide variety of creative and unique activities. Friends Camp welcomes youth from all backgrounds to our diverse community.

As you explore our web page, please note that we have some new sections and several new options. You can now sign up by e-mailing the camper registration form to our office and you can also make your payments with a check and/or with Pay Pal. We have a new energy saving transportation option in the Parents section. We have a directions link to help you find Friends Camp. You can now easily find and print the following information and forms: camp brochure, registration form, camper parent handbook, health forms, reminder list, pack list, and directions.
