Rent a Cottage on China Lake
We will begin taking summer reservations on January 9^th, 2012

Do you and your family like to swim, canoe, kayak, sail, and motor boat? Our pleasant five-room cottage on China Lake is available for weekly rental. This one level cottage is in excellent condition. It has a nice sun deck located only few feet from the shoreline. The cottage has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, washer / dryer, a kitchen, a living room and a dining room/game room. The cottage has one double bed, one queen, two full size sofa beds and three single beds. It is a three-season cottage with electric heat and a wood stove. The deck and the living room and dining room windows face west into a setting sun across China Lake. From South China, you can easily take day trips to the Maine coast and to the mountains of western Maine.

Summer Rental Rates

• Security/Damage Deposit  $300
• Weekly Rental Rate   $895
• 7% State of Maine Tax
• Weekly Cleaning Fee    $60

Spring and Fall Rental Rates

• Security/Damage Deposit  $300
• Weekly Rental Rate   $595
• Weekly Rental Rate – Memorial Day week and Columbus Day week $695
• 7% State of Maine Tax
• Cleaning Fee           $60
• Per day rate for 3 to 4 Days $150

Other Helpful Information

• The rental week starts on Saturday at 4 PM and ends the next Saturday at 10 AM.
• The deposit is not part of the weekly rent and it will be refunded to you minus any damage costs.
• Fifty percent of the rental fee is required 60 days before arrival and the balance of the rent is due 14 days before arrival.
• If your party has more than six guests, a fee of $20 per day, per person will be charged.
• Summer rates start on June 17^th and end on September 1^st.
• The cottage address is 64 Fire Road 41, South China, Maine 04358.
• Linens and bath towels are included.
• A nice restaurant and a Hannaford supermarket/pharmacy are less than four miles from the cottage.
• No pets, please.
• No smoking in the cottage, or anywhere on the property.
